Adele caught the acting bug at the age of six, and since then she has dreamed and worked toward operating her own movie studio. From the very beginning of her career, she found herself responsible for producing the plays so she could act in them. Adele was born and raised in the small country town of Hawthorn Pennsylvania.

There were no acting opportunities in film or the theater for miles. Theater was more accessible than film and all of the great actors were trained in the theater, so Adele eagerly tackled elementary school plays and dramatics in the regional home school groups. Her energy and passion for drama propelled her to take on writing, directing, and producing. Adele made her own opportunities, partly because she had to and partly because that was how she was assured of getting the parts she wanted.

In her teen years and through college Adele acted with the Brookville Community Theater, The North Clarion Players, and The Clarion Community Theater. Her high school years in the home school group culminated by directing and starring in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Pygmalion."

Adele attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina for three years, studying radio, TV, cinema and speech. She transferred back home to Pennsylvania and graduated from Clarion University with  a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theater and Acting in 2005.

Adele Smith - The Early Years

"As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's childre; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. The Lord hath prepare his throne in the heaven; and his kingdom ruleth over all." ~ Psalm 103:16-19
